What are EPDM drain outlets/pipe boots?
Drain outlets and pipe boots are required when vents/pipes are present on the roof where the EPDM is being applied. As these details are exposed to the elements, our EPDM drain outlets and pipe boots have been designed with attached flashing which, when using our Techno EPDM primer, will create a watertight seal between the EPDM membrane and the drains/vents.
