We offer both water-based and contact adhesives, perfect for achieving that reliable, long-lasting bond between your EPDM rubber and your roof deck and upstands.

We also offer a range of EPDM sealants to ensure a long-lasting waterproof seal on chases above wall trims.

High-quality EPDM Membrane Adhesives
When attempting a DIY rubber roof install, it is important to use a high-quality EPDM adhesive, and there are several reasons why this is crucial:

The stronger the bond between the EPDM and the substrate, the longer the roof will continue to perform well and resist weathering.

A more secure bond will ensure that in the most extreme weather conditions, the roof will not suffer additional damage owing to potential wind uplift.

From water-based adhesives to contact adhesives, every product in our range has a purpose. When buying your epdm bonding adhesive, it’s important to consider the project’s requirements, e.g., how many upstands does the roof have?

If laying EPDM on a simple flat roof, we always suggest rolling water-based adhesive over the area the EPDM will be applied to, as well as on the back of the EPDM section to be laid. Our Techno Water Based Adhesive applied with a 9” roller is perfect.

However, for upstands, we always recommend our Techno Contact Adhesive to ensure a water-tight seal.

EPDM Primers
Whether you’re applying a patch kit, creating seams/joins, finishing external corners or installing rainwater outlets, primers are essential in installing these correctly.

Our primers help ensure a watertight seal on your roof, effectively finishing external corners, or working with our range of seam tapes/flashings to create a watertight seam/join.

We always recommend that primers be applied using a paintbrush or scrubber pad.
