We recommend opening the membrane out as soon as possible after delivery to allow it to settle. Please add a 400mm overhang to your membrane size, for a slight overhang at roof edges.

Step 1Ensure deck is dry and clean. |

Step 2Position membrane on the roof and allow it to relax for 30-45 minutes: allow slightly longer in colder temperatures. |

Step 3Fold back one half of the rubber and apply an even coat of water-based adhesive to the deck, using a roller and sleeve. For best results, it is essential that the water based deck adhesive is thoroughly stirred with a paddle stirrer prior to use. |

Step 4Mate the rubber to the adhesive immediately, and use a soft broom to sweep out any air bubbles. |

Step 5Repeat the process for the other side. |

Step 6Thoroughly sweep roof. |
RubbaSeal guarantees the EPDM material purchased is free from defects in the material and manufacturing process. In the event of failure arising from defects or deterioration in materials or manufacturing process within the guarantee period, RubbaSeal shall, upon receipt of written notice provided within 14 days of the discovery of such, promptly inspect the project to determine the cause of the same.
In the event that RubbaSeal reasonably determines that the deterioration due to the defect in materials or manufacturing process has in fact occurred, RubbaSeal at its discretion, shall provide materials for the repair of such. To the extent that any damaged are due to acts of god, natural disaster (including but not limited to, strong gales, hurricanes, lightening, tornadoes and earthquakes), negligence, abuse, vandalism, repairs or alterations or attachments or additions to the project, or war, or civil disobedience and/or do not directly arise from defects in material or manufacturing process, such damages are excluded from coverage under this guarantee.
RubbaSeal shall have no obligation under this guarantee until RubbaSeal or the installing contractor have been paid in full for all materials, installation, supplies and service included in the project contract. The total liability of RubbaSeal under this guarantee shall not exceed the net value of the product supplied on this project.
The guarantee is for 20 years.
